Product advantage
1. Excellent safe use performance is
conducive to improving work efficiency.
2. Reasonable structure design to ensure
good performance of tires.
3. Advanced technology and formulation design.
The biggest advantage of solid tires is wear resistance, do not worry about tire pressure and air leakage, not afraid of tire punctures, bad tires, small needles and small nails. Another point is that solid tires can carry more load than pneumatic tires. Finally, in terms of the aging speed of rubber, solid tires must last longer than radial tires, which can meet the long-term use needs of vehicles working in harsh environments. The service life is generally long, usually 3 to 5 years, no need to pump up, saving a lot of after-sales trouble.

Solid tyre is an industrial tire suitable for low-speed and high-load vehicles. It is widely used in various industrial vehicles, engineering machinery, ports, airports, railways, large and medium-sized industrial and mining enterprises and various cargo handling workplaces for its long service life, high safety factor, high wear resistance, tear resistance, fatigue resistance, maintenance-free and other characteristics.
1. Installation of tyres
The rims of pneumatic solid tyres and corresponding pneumatic tires are interchangeable. However, the installation of solid tire rim can only be completed by using auxiliary tools on the pressing machine. In order to ensure the safety and accuracy in the installation process, the following rules should be observed:
(1) Inspection of tyres and rims
Firstly, check the compatibility between tyre and rim, that is, whether the tire specification needed to be installed is the same as the type of rim. The rim width of the same size tyre is different, so it should be confirmed before installation. Wheel rim inspection includes whether the rim has defects and burrs. If there are burrs, polish it, otherwise it is easy to hang inside the tyre hub, affecting the installation and use.
(2) In order to ensure that the tyre can be installed in place successfully and reduce the friction with the rim, spraying and lubricating agents are needed on the inner hub and outer surface of the rim during installation. The lubricants can choose commonly used soap water, laundry powder water, etc. Special lubricants for the tire can be used conditionally, but commonly used industrial lubricants such as grease can never be used, they will swell rubber and damage the tyre.
(3) When the tyre is placed on the rim, it should not be tilted. Otherwise, it will be difficult to install, sway left and right when it is used, the rim must be installed in place, and the bolts must be tightened. Otherwise, it is dangerous if slipping or separation of rim and tyre.
(4) According to the standard requirements of ETRTOEDI , when a tyre is installed on a vehicle, the tire must be installed concentrically on the axle. Tyres of different manufacturers, specifications and wear levels shall not be installed on the same vehicle, let alone on the same axle. Solid tires and pneumatic tires shall not be mixed on the same vehicle to avoid tyres, vehicles and personal accidents caused by uneven force. Therefore, the tyres installed on any vehicle and axle should be the same manufacturer, same specifications and same wear equivalent.
2. Storage, use and maintenance of tyres
Due to the accelerated aging of rubber under the action of light, heat, grease and chemicals, solid tyres should be avoided to be used in the above environment. Storage should not be directly exposed to sunlight, should be away from light, heat, grease, acid and alkali and other harmful substances. Solid tires should be laid flat, not upright, in order to avoid overturning and injuring people.
National standards and foreign authoritative standards have clear provisions about the speed and load of solid tires under different operating conditions. Different speeds and loads correspond to each other. Vehicles are not allowed to increase their loads at low speeds, nor are they allowed to use interpolation method to calculate their loads at specified speeds. The maximum speed of solid tyre on forklift is 25KM/HR, and other industrial vehicles should be less than 16KM/HR.
Due to the poor heat dissipation capability of solid tires, in order to prevent excessive heat generation and damage of tires, continuous operation should be avoided. The maximum distance of each stroke should not exceed 2KM. Solid tyres are used for vehicles on site and may not be used for road transportation. When used in excess of the above conditions, the user shall consult with the tire manufacturer. Under normal conditions, overload, overspeed, long-distance and long-term continuous use are strictly prohibited.
3. Tyre Replacement
Weared tyres need to be replaced in time. When the tire is worn to a certain extent, the solid tire will not burst like the pneumatic tire due to the exposure of the cord. Although the tire can continue to use, excessive tread wear will cause danger and economic loss.
According to the requirements of ETRTOEDI, when the tire reaches 3/4 of the initial thickness, it is necessary to replace the new tire, which is calculated according to the following formula:
D=3/4(Dnew-Drim)+Drim
D = 3/4 (Dnew-Drim) +Drim
D = Outer diameter of tyre after use
Dnew = outer diameter of new tire
Drim = outer diameter of rim
